What the site needs to solve in this business
If your agency isn't known, customers stay on comparison sites
Customers check comparison sites first
People looking for comprehensive car insurance or compulsory motor insurance often start on price comparison sites. If the agency has no site of its own, it isn't clear that you're a local agency that will be there for them when there's a claim.
Trust comes down to documents
Customers want to see that the agency is authorised, which companies it works with and who will look after them. If your levha registration (your entry in Turkey's official register of insurance agencies) and team details aren't on the site, the decision comes down to a recommendation from someone they know.
When there's a claim, the phone doesn't stop ringing
After an accident or a flood, customers call without knowing what to do. If the steps for reporting a claim are written on the site, the first minutes aren't lost and the same explanation isn't given from scratch every time.
Agency modules
Lines of insurance, team and guides in the same panel
Everything below is a screen that works today; the price box shows which package includes each one.
A separate page for each line of insurance
Compulsory motor and comprehensive car insurance, home and earthquake insurance (DASK), health, business premises and cargo insurance: each line has its own page showing what it covers and what information is needed for a quote. People who search for a line of insurance by name can find the right page.
Your agency team
The names and roles of the agency principal and staff, and the lines of insurance they handle, sit on the Our Team page; only people who have given explicit consent appear on the site.
Policy and claims guides
General information posts, such as what to do after an accident, what DASK (compulsory earthquake insurance) covers or what to watch for when renewing a policy, are published on the blog. You send a post to your customer as a link.
Renewal period reminders
You show the renewal period for home and earthquake insurance (DASK), or your working hours over the holidays, with an announcement that appears on the pages and dates you choose.

Questions about insurance agency websites
Should we show the insurance companies we work with and our levha registration number on the site?
The insurance agencies regulation (Sigorta Acenteleri Yönetmeliği) requires an agency to publish the insurance companies it acts for, and the authorisations those companies have granted it, on its website if it has one. Stating your levha registration number (your entry in the official register of insurance agencies) also shows that the agency is authorised; don't use company logos in a way that gives the impression you are an insurance company.
Can we sell policies or take online payments on the site?
No; there's no cart or online payment on the site. The site introduces your agency and takes quote requests; the policy is issued through the insurance company's system.
Which details should we ask customers for in the quote form?
For first contact, a name, a phone number and the type of insurance they're interested in are enough. We recommend taking details such as ID numbers, vehicle registration documents and health information at the meeting rather than on the form; since you collect personal data through the form, the privacy notice and cookie consent come ready in every package.
Can we state premium and discount information on the site?
Premiums vary with the insurance company's offer and the person's details; we recommend not stating exact premiums or promises such as "cheapest comprehensive car insurance" on the site. Explaining which companies you get quotes from and how the quote is prepared is enough.
How should we guide customers on the site when there's a claim?
You can explain on a separate page how to report a claim, which documents are needed and how you help. Your phone number can be called with one tap on the site; stating how to reach you outside office hours makes things quicker for the customer.
Do you have a theme made for insurance agencies?
There's no separate theme for insurance agencies. At setup you choose the Insurance industry and adapt the texts of one of the office themes, such as Defter, to your agency. On the Exclusive package, your site is designed specially for you.
